Above: Along with artist Noah Rose, Atoll have been awarded the prize for Best Use of Creative Space by the 5th Creativity Works in Business Awards for their jointly curated temporary public art and artist development festival called Hiddenplace in Burnley.
Above: Atoll are currently curating the public art programme for the £26m Mirror Pool City Park for the City of Bradford as part of a design team including Gillespies, Arup and Sturgeon North Architects. Potential commissions include the Soundpool created by sound artist Janek Schaefer. Other potentially commissioned artists include Wolfgang Buttress and Usman Haque. Above: Funded by Burnley MBC and Tesco, and in collaboration with artist Noah Rose, Atoll have curated an award-winning temporary public art festival for Burnley called hiddenplace. The festival featured works of 7 local artists: Love & Etiquette Foundation; Stephen Connelly; Lucy Bergman; Jill Randall; Karen Lyons; Kerry Morrison; and Alison White. The programme won an award for Best Use of Creative Space at the 2009 CreativityWorks awards.

consultation carried out by Atoll with artist Noah Rose, on the
Creative Scope for Burnleys new masterplan (produced by BDP), a
creative consultation event called 'Culture? Burnley? Where? - A
Mystery Day Out' was held on Wednesday 19 July. It was attended by 8
Burnley-based Creative Professionals, plus Ian Banks and Noah Rose. The
day was structured to include a guided walk along the waterways (both
hidden and well-used) of Burnley, including the River Calder and the
Leeds Liverpool canal. This was followed by an informal facilitated
discussion. The day was documented by still photographs and a film,
recording the journey and discussions between participants.
