Description: Contracted freelance as concept design architect for Pozzoni Architecture, their project brief care of their clients JS Sainsbury’s PLC was to design a store that straddled two levels and two sites. Quoting Pozzoni’s own original website entry: “A very large foodstore has been successfully integrated into a mature urban setting providing a contemporary counterpoint to the retained Edwardian structures. The architectural solution, together with unique signage totems and its sustainable location ensures this remains one of Sainsbury’s flagship stores”.
