Description: The project brief was to gain Planning Permission within the Lothersdale Conservation Area and then Building Regulations approval for the first floor redevelopment of the Hare and Hounds in the village. Now following planning approval gained, and following delays due to the utter disruption that was Covid, construction works have finally completed as of Summer 2025.

The Hare & Hounds now features a new extended dining & function room area upstairs being called the ‘Dale End Dining Room’ after this historic part of Lothersdale. The inn renovations have including complete improvements to all disability access, including a new platform lift and a disabled WC. Outside, a new outdoor dining terrace at the front has also been created to overlook the Grade II* listed Dale End Mill and it’s waterwheel dating from 1795.
