Trafford Council

Since 2021, Atoll have been listed on Trafford Metropolitan Borough Council’s own Planning Agents Accreditation Scheme.

Trafford Accredited Agents are, according to them, “planning agents who have shown that they fully understand how to submit a properly prepared householder application”, meaning that there are no delays when Trafford register their planning applications, and in being accredited, their agents in-turn agree to abide by a professional code of practice.

Having resigned in 2024 as an chartered architect under optional Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) membership, Ian Banks anyway remains bound by the strict professional codes of conduct, linked to the Architects Act, and his obligatory registration with the Architects Registration Board (ARB), as well as voluntarily with the Association of Consultant Architects (ACA).
