Description: The project brief was to gain Planning Permission within the Lothersdale Conservation Area and then Building Regulations approval for the first floor redevelopment of the Hare and Hounds Inn in the village. Now with conditional planning approval gained, and following the disruption of Covid over the last two years, construction works have finally begun in 2023. Completed designs will feature a new extended dining area upstairs, including improvements to DDA compliance and disability access including a new plaform lift serving all levels and a disabled WC. Outside, a new outdoor dining area at the front has already been created and overlooks the Grade II* listed Dale End Mill and waterwheel dating from 1795.
