Description: The project brief was to gain Planning Permission within the Lothersdale Conservation Area and then Building Regulations approval for the first floor redevelopment of the Hare and Hounds Inn in the village. Now with conditional planning approval gained, and following the disruption of Covid over the last two years, construction works have finally begun in 2023. Completed designs will eventually feature a new extended dining & function room area upstairs, including improvements to disability access, including a new platform lift and a disabled WC. Outside, a new outdoor dining area at the front has already been created and overlooks the Grade II* listed Dale End Mill and waterwheel dating from 1795.
