Description: The project brief was to extend the kitchen / dining and add to bedrooms and bathrooms to the existing house over two floors. The extension for both client and conservation officer was to utilise the local arts and craft vernacular of this conservation area, but to add a more contemporary styled sunroom with fully glazed slide-fold doors at the junction of old and new house. The roof over the sunroom was created as a stone patio deck with a frameless structural glazed ballustrade, and was access from both one bedroom and the main landing.
